About Us
FCL Builders, a Design/Build General Contractor specializing in office/industrial/manufacturing/ warehouse and distribution real estate properties, is organized in the State of Illinois, with additional authority in the states of California, Nevada, Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia and is a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
Our current staff is comprised of 89 office and field employees.
FCL Builders arises from the 1987 merger of the staff and business of two established construction companies, Four Columns, Ltd., formed in 1977, and Stava Construction Company, formed in 1976. Since 1976, FCL Builders as a whole, has successfully completed over 763 construction projects totaling over 67 million square feet with a total value of $1.9 billion.

Carie Carney, Senior Project Manager at FCL Builders was recently certified as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI).

FCL Builders has completed its fourth LEED-Certified Project. Although FCL Builders has been in business since 1976, Executive Vice President Carmen Dodaro says there is always something new to learn in the construction industy.
